I love working with simple, black and white geometric forms. It really helped me focus in on the basics of composition, story and layout without all of the added distractions of color and texture.

The Brief: This music streaming service needed an update to their logo animation. I drew inspiration from their mission statement "Our brand at its core reflects our desired user experience, simple and harmonious. Our Mixx bars are a pulsating, moving, thumping, breathing, and heart beating symbol of our relationship with music."

Working in a simplified way like this is exciting because you can really hone in on the composition and nail it down, afterwards there are endless possibilities to play with - the FUN stuff!I'm hoping to flesh out and render some of these frames in the future.
